When Kaan Kuddus fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kumluca SK's protests and gave Kaan Kuddus a yellow card for diving instead. 9 minutes into the game, Kumluca SK's Genco Sağman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Recep Pınarbaşı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Murat Nurtekin was a little too slow when Cahit Seylan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. Murat Nurtekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sait Nazir in the 23rd minute of the match. Murat Nurtekin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cahit Seylan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Kumluca SK's goalkeeper Murat Nurtekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cahit Seylan. After 30 played minutes Kumluca SK got a freekick which was hit by Kılıçalp Ekemen. Murat Nurtekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahattin İkbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kılıçalp Ekemen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Kaan Kuddus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cahit Seylan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SHALL WE BEGIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Cahit Seylan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murat Nurtekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murat Nurtekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sait Nazir in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sait Nazir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Murat Nurtekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sait Nazir in the 52nd minute of the match. Cahit Seylan took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murat Nurtekin. Murat Nurtekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 61st minute, Sabahattin Koca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamil Özok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genco Sağman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Recep Pınarbaşı 67 minutes into the match. Murat Nurtekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sait Nazir in the 70th minute of play. SHALL WE BEGIN were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Kumluca SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sait Nazir took the corner. In the 72nd minute Genco Sağman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Pınarbaşı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kumluca SK's Murat Nurtekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sait Nazir in the 75th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play SHALL WE BEGIN's Yusuf Ziya Kahraman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
