The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atabey Kadem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Hulusi Sabuncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ali Nejat Baysungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Saidarda's zone, Battal Uluman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batuhan Kayacan came out of the goal and Battal Uluman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12th play minutes Battal Uluman shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Batuhan Kayacan and just under the crossbar into goal. 17 minutes into the match, VAKFIKEBİR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Başar Payam came free, but Hulusi Sabuncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Saidarda's Başar Payam in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VAKFIKEBİR FC's goalie prevented a goal. VAKFIKEBİR FC's Hulusi Sabuncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başar Payam in the 21st minute of play. Salih Nebahattin's late challenge caught a VAKFIKEBİR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salih Nebahattin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Saidarda's Salih Nebahattin got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Sancarbey Hedef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 28 minutes on the clock, Aydemir Akadlı commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VAKFIKEBİR FC! Hulusi Sabuncu went to the wrong direction when Atabey Kadem was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Başar Payam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulusi Sabuncu having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Atabey Kadem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hulusi Sabuncu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Başar Payam to make the kick off. Başar Payam scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hulusi Sabuncu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hulusi Sabuncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atabey Kadem in the 58th minute of the match. If Battal Uluman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VAKFIKEBİR FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Atabey Kadem 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Başar Payam got free with Hulusi Sabuncu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 played minutes VAKFIKEBİR FC got a freekick which was hit by Garip Ümit. In a very dangerous position, a player in VAKFIKEBİR FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! A collision led to VAKFIKEBİR FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Battal Uluman hit a great ball. Garip Ümit hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. From close distance Başar Payam pressed in the 2-5 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 88 minutes into the game. VAKFIKEBİR FC's Hulusi Sabuncu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save VAKFIKEBİR FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, VAKFIKEBİR FC's Battal Uluman got a free kick in the 97th minute. Başar Payam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
