After 6 minutes, Edgar Cângea made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arteka FC's Fikret Erbaş tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Denizhan Yenbu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahcesehir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arteka FC the free kick. A collision led to Bahcesehir getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Denizhan Yenbu hit a great ball. Naim Dirsehan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Arteka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Tansan came free, but Fikret Erbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arteka FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bedrettin Olcaytug hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Edgar Cângea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fikret Erbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Cângea's late challenge caught a Arteka FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 25thth minute of the game Yüksel Tansan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arteka FC's Fikret Erbaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lefter Akaydın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Bedri Selil in the 38th minute of the match. Bahcesehir's Lefter Akaydın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bedri Selil in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Arteka FC's Abuzer Birtan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lefter Akaydın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Cângea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fikret Erbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Cângea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fikret Erbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüksel Tansan in the 58th minute of play. Fikret Erbaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yüksel Tansan went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 63 minutes of play, Arteka FC's Ahmet Bedri Selil made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lefter Akaydın was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 played minutes Bahcesehir got a freekick which was hit by Recai Taçyıldız. Edgar Cângea hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Bedri Selil in the 71st minute of play forced Bahcesehir's goalkeeper Lefter Akaydın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasim Palabıyık in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fikret Erbaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Bedri Selil in the 75th minute of play forced Bahcesehir's goalkeeper Lefter Akaydın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bahcesehir booed when Arteka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Ülgenalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Cenan Yaşar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arteka FC's Fikret Erbaş didn't even have to move. The referee showed Rasim Palabıyık the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute Andaç Şemsifer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lefter Akaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arteka FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
