The Güney Yurdaer was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Güney Yurdaer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acar Demirtuğ in the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derya Uçarer during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 minutes, Mustafa Emre Dinçay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAVİ ŞİMŞEK and the Orta Sk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes MAVİ ŞİMŞEK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Emre Dinçay. Güney Yurdaer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The wind increased when Derya Uçarer made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in MAVİ ŞİMŞEK's zone, Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güney Yurdaer came out of the goal and Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Haşim Taşkesen's late challenge caught a MAVİ ŞİMŞEK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Haşim Taşkesen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MAVİ ŞİMŞEK booed when Orta Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Haşim Taşkesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ercüment Dalmaz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MAVİ ŞİMŞEK's Zafer Gürçınar got a free kick in the 70th minute. Orta Sk's Ahmet Çevikcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derya Uçarer in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Orta Sk defense, Nejat Baş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Çevikcan. The Orta Sk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Çevikcan should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Çevikcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Emre Dinçay in the 77th minute of play. Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Orta Sk's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güney Yurdaer having to interfere.
