The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Babür Yağızkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Ahmet Çevikcan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan in the 20th minute of play forced Boldi's goalkeeper Babür Yağızkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Orta Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Seçkin Nesefi came free, but Ahmet Çevikcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orta Sk's goalkeeper Ahmet Çevikcan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Boldi got a freekick which was hit by Alaaddin Kutsal. With a little luck, Orta Sk's Ahmet Çevikcan got control of the ball when Seçkin Nesefi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Seçkin Nesefi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Çevikcan was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A collision led to Orta Sk getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mahir Özsevi hit a great ball. Seçkin Nesefi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ahmet Çevikcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babür Yağızkurt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Seçkin Nesefi to strike the kick off in the second half. Şentürk Sadullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Çevikcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emre Beytekin in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Acar Demirtuğ made a precise shot to the right of Babür Yağızkurt. Boldi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Emre Beytekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Orta Sk's zone, Seçkin Nesefi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Çevikcan came out of the goal and Seçkin Nesefi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şentürk Sadullah hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Babür Yağızkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Aydıntan in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Seçkin Nesefi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Çevikcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Orta Sk's Berkan Orhun got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seçkin Nesefi in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Çevikcan saved Orta Sk from getting behind. When Boldi's Seçkin Nesefi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orta Sk's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Orta Sk getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ahmet Haşim Taşkesen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gürcan Ünsev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boldi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürcan Ünsev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Çevikcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seçkin Nesefi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Çevikcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seçkin Nesefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Orta Sk's Şahin Tolgahan got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Orta Sk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orta Sk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
