Beşir Kaçkar tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Geovânio Moreno. After 34 played minutes Ankara got a freekick which was hit by Asım Arif Demirkan. Geovânio Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erim Hekimbaşı in the 36th minute of the match. Calle Rudberg struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Geovânio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Değirmenköy FC. When Erim Hekimbaşı came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Değirmenköy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erim Hekimbaşı couldn't finish the play. Erim Hekimbaşı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Moreno having to interfere. Değirmenköy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erim Hekimbaşı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erim Hekimbaşı made a kick off. Hurşit Tunçaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute.
