A collision led to Göztepe getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kubat Oksu hit a great ball. Necat Özguner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haldun Bayır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Görkem Erzan in the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aras Görkem Erzan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haldun Bayır was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Enver Beytekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cavit Özdilmaç kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Kerim Mazhar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Teoman Tatu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Gökalp Kaçkar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teoman Tatu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 57 played minutes Nankatsu SC got a freekick which was hit by Necat Özguner. Baturhan Nebi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Gökalp Kaçkar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Aras Görkem Erzan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haldun Bayır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teoman Tatu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Nankatsu SC's Ahmet Gökalp Kaçkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Göztepe's Baturhan Nebi got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Nankatsu SC's Aras Görkem Erzan in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Nankatsu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Gökalp Kaçkar should have stopped the shot. After having played for 95 minutes, Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göztepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Gökalp Kaçkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayındır Mehmet Nurbaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
