After 4 minutes, Abdulhamit Çetinoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beşiktaş and the Baglarbasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Baglarbasi defense, Mete Mutluay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sarp Demirci. The Baglarbasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarp Demirci should have stopped the shot. Abdulhamit Çetinoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sarp Demirci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Beşiktaş's Aysan Kamber made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sarp Demirci was left in no man's land by his defense there! Soner Ortaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarp Demirci having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Affan Sayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baglarbasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Affan Sayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arif Oğuz Saruhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Arif Oğuz Saruhan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Baglarbasi's Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Affan Sayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Oğuz Saruhan having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mete Mutluay to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Baglarbasi's zone, Mete Mutluay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarp Demirci came out of the goal and Mete Mutluay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Oğuz Saruhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Emir Oker, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Baglarbasi's Sarp Demirci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Baglarbasi from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş's late challenge caught a Beşiktaş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş helped the player get up and apologised. Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mete Mutluay hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soner Ortaç in the 70th minute of play forced Baglarbasi's goalkeeper Sarp Demirci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mete Mutluay could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Sarp Demirci however easily saved by the left post. Arif Oğuz Saruhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. İsmet Şahdar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ali Emir Oker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Oğuz Saruhan having to interfere. Arif Oğuz Saruhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş in the 92nd minute of play. Mete Mutluay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 94th playminute. The Baglarbasi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Beşiktaş were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
