After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY SK's zone, Tolek Jestrimski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aytek Siraceddin came out of the goal and Tolek Jestrimski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of GALATASARAY SK booed when Amelegücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Păvăloae didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Marongiu struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Aytek Siraceddin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amelegücü. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Edoardo Marongiu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aytek Siraceddin. 16 minutes into the match, Edoardo Marongiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aytek Siraceddin. GALATASARAY SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edoardo Marongiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Amelegücü's Latif İren got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Marongiu in the 29th minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Aytek Siraceddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Geronimo Giraldo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Amelegücü's Uygar Buffon. Uygar Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 40 minutes, Edoardo Marongiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amelegücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Marongiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Amelegücü's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Mehmet Taştan came free, but Uygar Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amelegücü's Uygar Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Mehmet Taştan in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edoardo Marongiu to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Tevfik Oran threw the ball into play from the sideline. Amelegücü's Iulian Păvăloae quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of GALATASARAY SK booed when Amelegücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Păvăloae didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Amelegücü getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Iulian Păvăloae hit a great ball. After 66 minutes, Iulian Păvăloae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amelegücü and the GALATASARAY SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Amelegücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Păvăloae to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Amelegücü getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Latif İren hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Arif Bilge Necmi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uygar Buffon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Amelegücü's Edoardo Marongiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aytek Siraceddin. That made the score 3-3 after 80 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Edoardo Marongiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amelegücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Uygar Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Taştan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Amelegücü's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Giraldo came free, but Uygar Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iulian Păvăloae hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Amelegücü had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
