Korkutalp Özarkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Longo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's 柯傲阳 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Asım Çidam in the 14th minute of play. 柯傲阳 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Asım Çidam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 19th minute Sammy Longo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korkutalp Özarkın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Altın Ova defense, Sammy Longo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Korkutalp Özarkın. The Altın Ova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korkutalp Özarkın should have stopped the shot. Mehmet Efe Şabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Korkutalp Özarkın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sammy Longo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Sammy Longo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korkutalp Özarkın was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 31 minutes into the match, Mehmet Efe Şabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Korkutalp Özarkın. Altın Ova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Efe Şabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hami Sina in the 34th minute of play forced Altın Ova's goalkeeper Korkutalp Özarkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Korkutalp Özarkın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Efe Şabi in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hami Sina got free with Korkutalp Özarkın in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Efe Şabi during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
