İlhan Kadrican took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Onur Ali Bozdoğan. Onur Ali Bozdoğan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 32 played minutes Bodrumspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Güray Adak. Onur Ali Bozdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Gotor in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes Nothing Else Matters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ralf Bivall who took care of the corner kick. With an all-out effort, Nothing Else Matters's Marek Smolak threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lefter Akbatur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. İlhan Kadrican kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lefter Akbatur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Nothing Else Matters's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Lefter Akbatur got free in front of the goal in the 46th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marek Smolak was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Nothing Else Matters players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bodrumspor JK were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güray Adak to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Marco Eusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marek Smolak was relentless in the 54th minute of the game.
