Cicekdagi FK's Ahmet Nasir Babacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lokman Sağlamtürk in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Newells Old Boys's Başaran Tuncay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Nasir Babacan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ahmet Nasir Babacan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lokman Sağlamtürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Kenny N'Diaye notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cicekdagi FK's Ahmet Nasir Babacan. Ahmet Nasir Babacan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the game, Lokman Sağlamtürk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ahmet Nasir Babacan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Lokman Sağlamtürk sped through Cicekdagi FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Nasir Babacan. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Kenny N'Diaye got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ahmet Nasir Babacan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenny N'Diaye went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cicekdagi FK's Yağız Neşat got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ahmet Nasir Babacan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Başaran Tuncay went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Kenny N'Diaye notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Cicekdagi FK's Ahmet Nasir Babacan. After a defensive mix-up in Cicekdagi FK's zone, Lokman Sağlamtürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Nasir Babacan came out of the goal and Lokman Sağlamtürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Babür Hamurcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 49 minutes, Battal Gazi Alpsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cicekdagi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Gazi Alpsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kenny N'Diaye to strike the kick off in the second half. Baran Bilge Gökalp hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ahmet Nasir Babacan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lokman Sağlamtürk went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Newells Old Boys's Alptuğ Behram got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Melih Cevdet Akıncıbeyoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cicekdagi FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melih Cevdet Akıncıbeyoğlu couldn't finish the play. When Newells Old Boys's Kenny N'Diaye in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cicekdagi FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Lokman Sağlamtürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newells Old Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Yalçın Erensoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Cicekdagi FK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arda Kulan hit a great ball. Cicekdagi FK's Ahmet Nasir Babacan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cicekdagi FK from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd match minute, Newells Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykut Canser to maneuver through the defense. Serter Gökyüzü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ahmet Nasir Babacan made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenny N'Diaye in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Nasir Babacan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Newells Old Boys were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Cicekdagi FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Başaran Tuncay took the corner. Babür Hamurcu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lokman Sağlamtürk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Nasir Babacan came out and tried to block the shot, but Lokman Sağlamtürk slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 96th minute. Newells Old Boys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
