The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Boran İksir couldn't finish the play. Melih Cevdet Nuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oktay Özberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Tevfik Atlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melih Cevdet Nuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ersin Akkaynak managed to get in a good position for a shot. KARŞIYAKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ersin Akkaynak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Orhan Keykubad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melih Cevdet Nuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oktay Özberk, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Melih Cevdet Nuralp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oktay Özberk in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melih Cevdet Nuralp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Haydar Sarik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oktay Özberk in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melih Cevdet Nuralp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Oktay Özberk put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Melih Cevdet Nuralp. When TR0050's Oktay Özberk in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KARŞIYAKA's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Selami Tanırer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oktay Özberks short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Melih Cevdet Nuralp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oktay Özberk in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melih Cevdet Nuralp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oktay Özberk in the 54th minute of play forced KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet Nuralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes KARŞIYAKA got a freekick which was hit by Haydar Sarik. If Ömür Davutoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zafer Ruşen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TR0050's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
