Hakan Karabasov hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Beyaz Zenciler's Semi Merdan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reese Barclay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sapanca FK's Reese Barclay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semi Merdan in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Semi Merdan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reese Barclay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüştü Cangiray in the 19th minute of play forced Sapanca FK's goalkeeper Reese Barclay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reese Barclay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Merdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Semi Merdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reese Barclay having to interfere. The supporters of Beyaz Zenciler booed when Sapanca FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uluç Onursu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Semi Merdan took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reese Barclay. Reese Barclay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Semi Merdan was the one to do the kick off. If Semi Merdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rüştü Cangiray did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Reese Barclay 53 minutes into the match. Reese Barclay didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Hakan Karabasov hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sapanca FK's zone, Semi Merdan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reese Barclay came out of the goal and Semi Merdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, one of Sapanca FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sapanca FK. Reese Barclay had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Rüştü Cangiray's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Beyaz Zenciler's Rüştü Cangiray in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sapanca FK's goalie prevented a goal. Reese Barclay stood somewhat misplaced when Rüştü Cangiray came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Reese Barclay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semi Merdan in the 78th minute. Paşa Ali Özdoa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Beyaz Zenciler's Andrey Shevchenko was substituted for Semi Merdan. Paşa Ali Özdoa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Reese Barclay stood somewhat misplaced when Andrey Shevchenko came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 83 minute. Uluç Onursu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapanca FK's goalkeeper Reese Barclay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 minutes Sapanca FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rüştü Cangiray who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rüştü Cangiray got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reese Barclay quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 92 minutes, Andrey Shevchenko made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Sapanca FK's Reese Barclay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
