The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by İsmail Doğa. 3 minutes into the match, 19☆GÖZTEPE☆25's Yiğit Ömer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göksel Canfeda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Zeng Chong Kang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Çetin Gürgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Senna went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğit Ömer in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, 19☆GÖZTEPE☆25's Hüseyin Akpınar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göksel Canfeda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ferdi Coşan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Akpınar in the 22nd minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Hüseyin Akpınar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeng Chong Kang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Çetin Gürgan made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Yiğit Ömer made the kick off in the second half. Yiğit Ömer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Göksel Canfeda managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when 19☆GÖZTEPE☆25's Yiğit Ömer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğit Ömer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yiğit Ömer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. Güntekin Saru charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güntekin Saru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yiğit Ömer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Göksel Canfeda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Yiğit Ömer in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Göksel Canfeda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Göksel Canfeda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hüseyin Akpınar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Göksel Canfeda 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to 19☆GÖZTEPE☆25 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yiğit Ömer hit a great ball. If Yiğit Ömer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
