The audience was convinced that Rahmi Özerol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alkın İskender was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Alkın İskender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğa Ergül, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match Derik got a corner. İ.D.Ç SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sacit Bala ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Derik's Walter Mølndal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alkın İskender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Mølndal in the 42nd minute of the match. İ.D.Ç SK's Gwidon Marciewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rahmi Özerol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alkın İskender firmly grabbed it by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Oğuzkan Baysu made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes İ.D.Ç SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Anıl Salat. In the 55th match minute, İ.D.Ç SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzkan Baysu to maneuver through the defense. Walter Mølndal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alkın İskender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Doğa Ergül shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkın İskender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alkın İskender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilmen Sargınal, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Rahmi Özerol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alkın İskender was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 69th minute of the match, Gwidon Marciewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but René Higuita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. But to his dismay, Rahmi Özerol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Doğa Ergül fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkın İskender having to interfere. Alkın İskender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Mølndal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Rahmi Özerol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alkın İskender was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Derik fans cheered their team off the field, for while İ.D.Ç SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
