Raoul Boehnke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Bilge Ergunalp in the 4th minute of the match. Ogün Sarphan made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Platingucu SK's Baran Bilge Ergunalp. If Tudor Orășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Baran Bilge Ergunalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Raoul Boehnke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Platingucu SK's Dionisio Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of KIRIKKALESPOR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Platingucu SK:s goal. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Platingucu SK's Bekir Dağhan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Raoul Boehnke. In the 44th minute, Dionisio Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KIRIKKALESPOR's Paul Caniggia got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Orășan to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Platingucu SK's Baran Bilge Ergunalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raoul Boehnke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dionisio Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, KIRIKKALESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Bilge Ergunalp came free, but Raoul Boehnke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zikri Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanek Platnarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Zikri Erincer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Bilge Ergunalp in the 73rd minute of play forced KIRIKKALESPOR's goalkeeper Raoul Boehnke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Platingucu SK were awarded a corner. Bekir Dağhan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Platingucu SK's Pagomari Garrote to fire away a dangerous shot which Raoul Boehnke despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, KIRIKKALESPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saruhan Şenbay to maneuver through the defense. Raoul Boehnke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Bilge Ergunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95thth minute of the game Baran Bilge Ergunalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KIRIKKALESPOR's Raoul Boehnke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the KIRIKKALESPOR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Platingucu SK.
