Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Mario Alberto Millar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cumhur Ulutan. 10 minutes into the match, Witomir Kornaszewski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TRABZONSPOR's Cumhur Ulutan. Cumhur Ulutan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Berkem Vefai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gündüz Dirican in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Alberto Millar in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cumhur Ulutan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berkem Vefai made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gündüz Dirican sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of YEDİKULE booed when TRABZONSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğan Özsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Gündüz Dirican sped through YEDİKULE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Berkem Vefai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Kornaszewski in the 39th minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Cumhur Ulutan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-3 became the score in the 40th minute when Witomir Kornaszewski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Alberto Millar in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cumhur Ulutan saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. In the 44thth minute of the game Mario Alberto Millar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRABZONSPOR's Cumhur Ulutan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute of the match, Gündüz Dirican tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Berkem Vefai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gündüz Dirican to make the kick off. Berkem Vefai came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by TRABZONSPOR's Gündüz Dirican. But to his dismay, Gündüz Dirican quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Gündüz Dirican came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the TRABZONSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gündüz Dirican couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, YEDİKULE's goal looked a bit too open when Gündüz Dirican came free, but Berkem Vefai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Koray Neba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berkem Vefai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gündüz Dirican, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mario Alberto Millar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cumhur Ulutan came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Alberto Millar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 64th minute. Berkem Vefai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gündüz Dirican's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gündüz Dirican in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berkem Vefai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. TRABZONSPOR's Cumhur Ulutan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save TRABZONSPOR from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind YEDİKULE's goalkeeper Berkem Vefai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to YEDİKULE getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ettore Bonelli hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match TRABZONSPOR got a corner. YEDİKULE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lefter İbiş ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 80th minute, Mario Alberto Millar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gündüz Dirican in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berkem Vefai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berkem Vefai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baransel Ortan's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Cumhur Ulutan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Millar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gündüz Dirican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute Gündüz Dirican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkem Vefai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
