Lefter İbiş was slow to take the kick. During this time TRABZONSPOR's players had a chance to rest. TRABZONSPOR's Lefter İbiş was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nae Tomoioagă in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gündüz Dirican's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nae Tomoioagă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Lefter İbiş made a great header on TRABZONSPOR's corner, it was just that FC KARDEŞ's Nae Tomoioagă managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's Baransel Ortan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nae Tomoioagă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Nae Tomoioagă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the match, Nihat Kahveci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cumhur Ulutan. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cumhur Ulutan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC KARDEŞ's Nae Tomoioagă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC KARDEŞ from getting a goal against them. TRABZONSPOR's Cumhur Ulutan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nihat Kahveci in the 25th minute of play. Nae Tomoioagă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gündüz Dirican's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. TRABZONSPOR were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after FC KARDEŞ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lefter İbiş took the corner. The corner led TRABZONSPOR's Lefter İbiş to fire away a dangerous shot which Nae Tomoioagă despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Berkant Tezkan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cumhur Ulutan saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Nihat Kahveci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cumhur Ulutan was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gündüz Dirican made a kick off. Virgil Van Dijcke kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Nae Tomoioagă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gündüz Dirican's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Güvenç Kırca kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Nihat Kahveci managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KARDEŞ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nihat Kahveci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cumhur Ulutan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gündüz Dirican in the 63rd minute of play forced FC KARDEŞ's goalkeeper Nae Tomoioagă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC KARDEŞ's Nae Tomoioagă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gündüz Dirican in the 64th minute of play. Nihat Kahveci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cumhur Ulutan having to make a save. Ali Berkant Tezkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cumhur Ulutan made a huge save. Gökçe Sabri's late challenge caught a FC KARDEŞ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökçe Sabri helped the player get up and apologised. Gökçe Sabri hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Nae Tomoioagă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baransel Ortan in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC KARDEŞ's zone, Çelebi Yüksel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nae Tomoioagă came out of the goal and Çelebi Yüksel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nihat Kahveci in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cumhur Ulutan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC KARDEŞ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC KARDEŞ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
