Özer Akartürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilmi Uyaralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneş Süleyman in the 10th minute of play forced Niğdespor's goalkeeper Özer Akartürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göktürk Özgiray in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Güneş Süleyman in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niğdespor's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, Burak Çavuş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güneş Süleyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özer Akartürk having to interfere. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy was a little too slow when Göktürk Özgiray got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-2. The Niğdespor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güneş Süleyman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Niğdespor's Bahadırhan Rakim got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mehmet Emrah Sarıdoğan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Özer Akartürk but with some difficulty. Gunnar Nordin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özer Akartürk having to make a save. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göktürk Özgiray in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Göktürk Özgiray who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Niğdespor's Erim Sungurbay to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute, Güneş Süleyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özer Akartürk was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Gunnar Nordin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Nordin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. In the 84th minute, Hilmi Uyaralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Hilmi Uyaralp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Özer Akartürk. That made the score 1-6 after 88 minutes of play. After 96 minutes, Abdulmelik Özbir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niğdespor and the Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
