The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cavit Coşkuner during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute of the game Mustafa Cumhur Uyun made a throw-in which Hampus Nyman played forward. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mümtaz İlyas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 67st Xerebos Familya F.C. were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after 1461 Trabzon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Kamil İlkser kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ender Tanacan. That made the score 2-4 in the 83 minute of play. Cléberson Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesur Yesar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of 67st Xerebos Familya F.C. booed when 1461 Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahattin Gültekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mümtaz İlyas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Tanacan having to interfere. Kayhan Sazak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Tanacan having to interfere.
