The Redscorpion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that kaya Özerdinc should have stopped the shot. Baybora İncili in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tymoteusz Setara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 13th minute, Joel Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Louis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck kaya Özerdinc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Redscorpion's zone, Modesto Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. kaya Özerdinc came out of the goal and Modesto Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Louis in the 20th minute of play forced Redscorpion's goalkeeper kaya Özerdinc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tymoteusz Setara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baybora İncili went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute Asrın İsmet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but kaya Özerdinc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Redscorpion made a substitution. Remzi Karar replaced Berkin Başdaş. İZMİR S.K.'s Ahmet Yahya Türkyılmaz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Remzi Karar, made in the 34th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mümtazer Soyselçuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Redscorpion supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching İZMİR S.K.'s performance. The match ended with a win for İZMİR S.K..
