With a little luck, BeŞiKtAş07's Cipriano Berdoi got control of the ball when Zigrīds Olencevics tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Atıf Ulus in the 15th minute of play forced MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gürhan Tansoy came free, but Şeref Özdeş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuma Adar in the 26th minute of play forced MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cuma Adar came free, but Şeref Özdeş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şeref Özdeş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musa Uluçkan in the 34th minute of play. Asaf Songurhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Cipriano Berdoi made a huge save. When Brin Delaney came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the MeZoPoTaMYa FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brin Delaney couldn't finish the play. Şeref Özdeş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürhan Tansoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Atıf Ulus scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şeref Özdeş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brin Delaney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ali Atıf Ulus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şeref Özdeş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şeref Özdeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Atıf Ulus in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Laurence Sheppard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, MeZoPoTaMYa FK's Tansu Ağyar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tansu Ağyar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MeZoPoTaMYa FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tansu Ağyar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 61st minute, Ali Nejat Tengiroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BeŞiKtAş07 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Atıf Ulus in the 68th minute of play forced MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Atıf Ulus in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şeref Özdeş saved MeZoPoTaMYa FK from getting behind. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Musa Uluçkan scored to the left of an out of position Şeref Özdeş, making the score, 0-4. Brin Delaney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Berdoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes BeŞiKtAş07's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomáš Velíšek who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Laurence Sheppard got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-4. 84 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Atıf Ulus. Brin Delaney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cipriano Berdoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Brin Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Brin Delaney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Berdoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's Şeref Özdeş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save MeZoPoTaMYa FK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, BeŞiKtAş07's Cuma Adar got a free kick in the 97th minute. BeŞiKtAş07's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
