Franz Kafka made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when İslam Yerel sent off a good shot on target. Derman Akdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Utku Talha in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baskın Üstünbay in the 20th minute of play forced TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper Derman Akdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZENO's Franz Kafka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hacı Ali Ulunay in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 played minutes ZENO got a freekick which was hit by John Steinbeck. Franz Kafka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Veevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Veevo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franz Kafka saved ZENO from getting behind. In the 29th minute TÜRKİSTAN 61 were awarded a corner. Zdzislaw Trynda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led TÜRKİSTAN 61's Mario Veevo to fire away a dangerous shot which Franz Kafka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Franz Kafka stood somewhat misplaced when Mario Veevo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. 33 minutes into the match, TÜRKİSTAN 61's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Coelho came free, but Derman Akdağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xu Yong Xu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Franz Kafka made a huge save. Paulo Coelho took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Derman Akdağ. Derman Akdağ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Xu Yong Xu scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franz Kafka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute Mario Veevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Kafka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Coelho struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Derman Akdağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZENO. Mikail Afacan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper Derman Akdağ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franz Kafka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Veevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZENO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
