Xu Yi Lei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, City Friseur Wuppertal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Ryback to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Ildefonso Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güngör Rasif in the 48th minute of play.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Kruusamäe in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xu Yi Lei saved City Friseur Wuppertal from getting behind. Semih Ayyıldız took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Ryback, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Konrad Kruusamäe put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Xu Yi Lei. 82 minutes into the match, Waldemar Ryback dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Semih Ayyıldız, 1-3. 89 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Kruusamäe came free, but Xu Yi Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched City Friseur Wuppertal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
