Sultan Bo Hamad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Emad Al Hadhod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emad Al Hadhod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ameen Al Motar's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sultan Bo Hamad got free with Emad Al Hadhod in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ammar Al Muwail during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ammar Al Muwail hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Sultan Bo Hamad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edrees Al Enzi's late challenge caught a Bridgnorth AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edrees Al Enzi helped the player get up and apologised. Edrees Al Enzi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Lafi Al Mofede in the 69th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Emad Al Hadhod's left hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdul Mohsen Al Srae got free with Saleh Al Ajmi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mahdi Al Mulaifi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Buckfast Abbey FC's Shaban Taqi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eesa Khaja took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emad Al Hadhod. Buckfast Abbey FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Buckfast Abbey FC's Abdul Mohsen Al Srae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saleh Al Ajmi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 minutes Bridgnorth AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saleh Al Ateqi who took care of the corner kick. Saleh Al Ateqi made a great header on Buckfast Abbey FC's corner, it was just that Bridgnorth AFC's Saleh Al Ajmi managed to reach the ball for a save. Abdul Mohsen Al Srae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nabel Al Srae hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Buckfast Abbey FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Saleh Al Ateqi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bridgnorth AFC's Saleh Al Ajmi got control of the ball when Abdul Mohsen Al Srae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sultan Bo Hamad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emad Al Hadhod read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. If Sultan Bo Hamad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Buckfast Abbey FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
