The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Shaheen Al Mosawe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Shaheen Al Mosawe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saleh Al Ajmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaheen Al Mosawe hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Sultan Bo Hamad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridgnorth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sultan Bo Hamad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ghanim Al Dabos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saleh Al Ajmi having to make a save. After 23 played minutes, Woodhall Spa FC's Gawhar Al Hashash shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saleh Al Ajmi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Woodhall Spa FC reached it. After 29 minutes of play, Woodhall Spa FC's Faisal Al Habshi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saleh Al Ajmi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Woodhall Spa FC's Jaber Bo Shehri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ameen Al Motar in the 39th minute of play. Faisal Al Habshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ameen Al Motar was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lafi Al Mofede during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 minutes, Fared Shalan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bridgnorth AFC and the Woodhall Spa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bridgnorth AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fared Shalan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shaheen Al Mosawe got free with Saleh Al Ajmi in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaber Bo Shehri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sultan Bo Hamad, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ameen Al Motar in the 74th minute of play forced Woodhall Spa FC's goalkeeper Jaber Bo Shehri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Hashem Al Jalahma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woodhall Spa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bridgnorth AFC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Bridgnorth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mahmoud Shalan. Sultan Bo Hamad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaber Bo Shehri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sultan Bo Hamad in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Ameen Al Motar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woodhall Spa FC's Jaber Bo Shehri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bridgnorth AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mahmoud Shalan in the 93rd minute. Jaber Bo Shehri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ameen Al Motar in the 96th minute of the match. Woodhall Spa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
