Derar Abo Al Hasan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mosa Bo Resley, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Nayef Al Najdi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Shjae Al Hajri. Nayef Al Najdi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Saltburn-by-the-sea AFC's Derar Abo Al Hasan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaber Al Hadhod in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Saltburn-by-the-sea AFC defense, Jaber Al Hadhod kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derar Abo Al Hasan. The Saltburn-by-the-sea AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derar Abo Al Hasan should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Masuod Al Abdullah during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 33 minutes into the match, Withington's goal looked a bit too open when Nayef Al Najdi came free, but Shjae Al Hajri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hashem Abo Al Hasan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Saltburn-by-the-sea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaber Al Hadhod came free, but Derar Abo Al Hasan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shjae Al Hajri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nayef Al Najdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mosa Bo Resley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Saltburn-by-the-sea AFC's zone, Jaber Al Hadhod stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Derar Abo Al Hasan came out of the goal and Jaber Al Hadhod tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute of the match, Mosa Bo Resley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Derar Abo Al Hasan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Hashem Abo Al Hasan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Saltburn-by-the-sea AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Withington:s goal. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Withington's Barrak Al Kandere got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Derar Abo Al Hasan. After having played for 64 minutes, Mosa Bo Resley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Withington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mosa Bo Resley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaber Al Hadhod received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Derar Abo Al Hasan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Mosa Bo Resley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derar Abo Al Hasan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mosa Bo Resley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yousef Al Mahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shjae Al Hajri having to interfere. Withington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haitham Bo Abbas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Withington supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Withington would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
