The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Nasser Dehrab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kidsgrove FC's Waleed Al Sohali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ramadan Al Hajri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adham Al Qatam kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Sadeq Al Ansari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fawzy Al Mosawe in the 8th minute of the match. Sadeq Al Ansari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fawzy Al Mosawe in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kidsgrove FC's goalkeeper Waleed Al Sohali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bashar Al Baghli hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Waleed Al Sohali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasser Dehrab, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Kidsgrove FC booed when East Horsley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adham Al Qatam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sadeq Al Ansari made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ramadan Al Hajri sent off a good shot on target. Waleed Al Sohali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasser Dehrab in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kidsgrove FC's Yousef Al Ateqi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rida Al Fadhalah was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Naji Al Rifaee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waleed Al Sohali having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Nasser Dehrab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 minutes, Ali Al Bana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kidsgrove FC and the East Horsley City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Naji Al Rifaee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Al Bana hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Waleed Al Sohali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naji Al Rifaee, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ramadan Al Hajri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nasser Dehrab made a kick off. Fawzy Al Mosawe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sadeq Al Ansari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadeq Al Ansari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fawzy Al Mosawe in the 59th minute of play. Nasser Dehrab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Naji Al Rifaee sped through Kidsgrove FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waleed Al Sohali. Naji Al Rifaee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yousef Al Ateqi's late challenge caught a East Horsley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yousef Al Ateqi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Yousef Al Ateqi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes, Naji Al Rifaee made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kidsgrove FC's Waleed Al Sohali tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nasser Dehrab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waleed Al Sohali having to interfere. Naji Al Rifaee struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Waleed Al Sohali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Horsley City. Nasser Dehrab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Waleed Al Sohali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kidsgrove FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yousef Al Ateqi hit a great ball. Waleed Al Sohali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasser Dehrab in the 95th minute of the match. When Naji Al Rifaee came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the East Horsley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naji Al Rifaee couldn't finish the play. The East Horsley City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing East Horsley City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
