The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salem Al Saleh during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Salem Al Saleh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salam Al Towatan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shaban Shams. Baston's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Baston getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mosab Al Qattan hit a great ball. Khalefa Al Dowaisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shaban Shams read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Shaban Shams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalefa Al Dowaisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Khalefa Al Rodhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Wolverhampton United's Khalefa Al Dowaisan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shaban Shams made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Karem Al Mosawe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baston's supporters rose to their feet, but Karem Al Mosawe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moath Bahroh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karem Al Mosawe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Karem Al Mosawe in the 44th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Karem Al Mosawe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Moath Bahroh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Baston players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wolverhampton United were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mahmoud Al Khobaize stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Saif Taiban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khalefa Al Dowaisan in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shaban Shams prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shaban Shams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalefa Al Dowaisan in the 60th minute of the match. Salem Al Saleh got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 63 played minutes Wolverhampton United got a freekick which was hit by Salem Al Saleh. Moath Bahroh didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Baston's Karem Al Mosawe shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 68th minute Mahmoud Al Khobaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moath Bahroh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahmoud Al Khobaize was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mahmoud Al Khobaize came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Baston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahmoud Al Khobaize couldn't finish the play. Moath Bahroh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahmoud Al Khobaize in the 97th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
