Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rashed Al Nasser started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Mahmoud Al Khobaize ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aesem Al Balool was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Rashed Al Nasser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Shaban Shams was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. West Bridgford's Dawood Al Wazan suffered a concussion in the 14th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Khalefa Al Rodhan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The long shot by Bader Al Kandere in the 16th minute really tested Shaban Shams's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. West Bridgford's Aesem Al Balool played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahmoud Al Khobaize in the 20th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Nader Shabakhoh got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Shaban Shams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashed Al Nasser, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Aesem Al Balool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahmoud Al Khobaize in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Mahmoud Al Khobaize cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aesem Al Balool was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Mosa Al Sayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahmoud Al Khobaize to strike the kick off in the second half. If Mahmoud Al Khobaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, West Bridgford's goalkeeper Aesem Al Balool had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karem Al Mosawe. In the 64th minute Karem Al Mosawe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aesem Al Balool saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Baston were awarded a corner. Mosa Al Sayer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Mosa Al Sayer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but West Bridgford's Aesem Al Balool did a great save. After 68 played minutes Baston got a freekick which was hit by Khalefa Al Rodhan. Rashed Al Nasser kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play Baston's Khalefa Al Rodhan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th minute, Khalefa Al Rodhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Karem Al Mosawe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aesem Al Balool was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in West Bridgford's zone, Karem Al Mosawe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aesem Al Balool came out of the goal and Karem Al Mosawe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sharf Al Ateqi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shaban Shams read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sharf Al Ateqi during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sharf Al Ateqi hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Mosa Al Sayer from long distance, 98 minutes into the match, got Aesem Al Balool's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Baston players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
