Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yaqoub Al Motar started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Bader Al Rodhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yatton's supporters rose to their feet, but Bader Al Rodhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esmael Al Azmi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yaseen Shams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Mohsen Shadad in the 13th minute of play. If Yaqoub Al Motar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanad Al Ansari's late challenge caught a Chadderton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sanad Al Ansari helped the player get up and apologised. Yatton's Yaseen Shams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Mohsen Shadad in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Jaffer Al Najdi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chadderton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yatton the free kick. In the 27th minute, Jaffer Al Najdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Abbas Al Qatam made a precise shot to the right of Esmael Al Azmi. Chadderton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Chadderton FC's Hani Al Khames got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Mamdouh Al Kandere was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bader Al Rodhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chadderton FC's Hani Al Khames got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

58 minutes into the match, Chadderton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bader Al Rodhan came free, but Esmael Al Azmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bader Al Rodhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Esmael Al Azmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yatton's Abbas Al Qatam in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chadderton FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Abdul Mohsen Shadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdul Mohsen Shadad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Malik Al Hashash was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yatton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chadderton FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Yatton's Malik Al Hashash got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaqoub Al Motar in the 93rd minute of play forced Yatton's goalkeeper Yaseen Shams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kamal Al Wazan came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Yatton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamal Al Wazan couldn't finish the play.
