An unexpectedly hard shot by Sayer Al Sayer in the 30th minute of play forced Ince's goalkeeper Hamed Al Saleh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salah Al Ansari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamed Al Saleh having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Sayer Al Sayer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamed Al Saleh, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Sayer Al Sayer took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Hamed Al Saleh to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Ince booed when Skelmersdale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waheed Al Towatan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Aziz Abol made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Sayer Al Sayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skelmersdale FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sayer Al Sayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aws Al Ansari during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skelmersdale FC's Aws Al Ansari got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Skelmersdale FC's zone, Abdul Aziz Abol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hussain Bo Abbas came out of the goal and Abdul Aziz Abol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sayer Al Sayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ince's zone, Sayer Al Sayer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamed Al Saleh came out of the goal and Sayer Al Sayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Ince's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Al Ansari came free, but Hamed Al Saleh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Yaqoot Al Sharaf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Ince got a freekick which was hit by Yaqoot Al Sharaf. 74 minutes into the match, Skelmersdale FC's Aesem Al Bana broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Ince booed when Skelmersdale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anas Bo Qamaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Skelmersdale FC got a freekick which was hit by Waheed Al Towatan. A hard shot by Jaffer Abo Al Hasan from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Hussain Bo Abbas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 90th minute Sayer Al Sayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamed Al Saleh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skelmersdale FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
