Salem Al Banai hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Folkestone's Ameen Al Mothaf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hashem Bo Shehri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Folkestone's Othman Hayat got control of the ball when Ebrahem Al Sayer tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Folkestone getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Adham Al Arbash hit a great ball. Hashem Bo Shehri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Al Gareb, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute Falah Al Qattan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Othman Hayat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falah Al Qattan in the 27th minute of play forced Folkestone's goalkeeper Othman Hayat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moner Al Shemali charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moner Al Shemali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Folkestone getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Moner Al Shemali hit a great ball. Othman Hayat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ebrahem Al Sayer in the 38th minute. Falah Al Qattan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ameen Al Mothaf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hashem Bo Shehri having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ameen Al Mothaf to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Falah Al Qattan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Othman Hayat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Khalel Al Baghli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Othman Hayat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falah Al Qattan in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Habib Al Gareb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Folkestone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habib Al Gareb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ebrahem Al Sayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Othman Hayat having to interfere. Moner Al Shemali hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ebrahem Al Sayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Habib Al Gareb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hashem Bo Shehri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Welford's Khalel Al Baghli got a free kick in the 74th minute. Haitham Al Mehana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hashem Bo Shehri having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Khalel Al Baghli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Welford and the Folkestone players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Folkestone booed when Welford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khalel Al Baghli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Folkestone's Fadhel Al Jalahma broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Habib Al Gareb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ameen Al Mothaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Welford's Falah Al Qattan got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
