Ameen Al Mothaf didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 22nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Ameen Al Mothaf ran dejectedly back to his position. Ayoob Al Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Sandown United booed when Folkestone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mosaed Al Ajmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ameen Al Mothaf to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Folkestone's goal looked a bit too open when Yousef Bo Abbas came free, but Othman Hayat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sandown United's Tamem Al Fadhalah got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sandown United's zone, Ameen Al Mothaf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zahid Al Fadhalah came out of the goal and Ameen Al Mothaf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Othman Hayat didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sandown United's Ayoob Al Ali shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Haitham Al Mehana charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haitham Al Mehana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Folkestone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haitham Al Mehana to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
