Zahid Al Fadhalah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falah Al Qattan in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Sandown United's goalkeeper Zahid Al Fadhalah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ebrahem Al Sayer. Farhan Al Saleh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zahid Al Fadhalah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Yousef Bo Abbas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hashem Bo Shehri. Welford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yousef Bo Abbas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Yousef Bo Abbas struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ayoob Al Ali in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hashem Bo Shehri saved Welford from getting behind. Mazen Al Ali kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Hashem Bo Shehri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayoob Al Ali in the 29th minute of the match. Yousef Bo Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayoob Al Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hashem Bo Shehri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandown United's Yousef Bo Abbas got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandown United's Zahid Al Fadhalah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ebrahem Al Sayer in the 72nd minute of play. Ayoob Al Ali scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hashem Bo Shehri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Falah Al Qattan came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Welford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falah Al Qattan couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute of the match Farhan Al Saleh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zahid Al Fadhalah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hashem Bo Shehri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waheed Al Qattamy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ebrahem Al Sayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Welford's zone, Yousef Bo Abbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hashem Bo Shehri came out of the goal and Yousef Bo Abbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Welford getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Raed Al Khars hit a great ball.
