Yazeed Al Mulaifi's late challenge caught a Playing Place City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yazeed Al Mulaifi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Reddish FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazeed Al Mulaifi to maneuver through the defense. Haitham Al Jalahma charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haitham Al Jalahma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reddish FC's Ammar Bo Abbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dhari Al Banwan in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Reddish FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mnawer Al Motaire hit a great ball. Faleh Kamal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ammar Bo Abbas. Reddish FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tariq Shabakhoh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zahid Al Qattamy having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Playing Place City got a freekick which was hit by Omar Abo Al Hasan. 34 minutes into the game, Haitham Al Jalahma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ammar Bo Abbas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Playing Place City's Faleh Kamal got a free kick in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Reddish FC's Gawhar Al Harban broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Playing Place City's goal looked a bit too open when Tariq Shabakhoh came free, but Zahid Al Qattamy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Playing Place City's Zahid Al Qattamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tariq Shabakhoh in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mnawer Al Enzi was the one to do the kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the Reddish FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Playing Place City.
