Bognor Regis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lymm AFC the free kick. After having played for 6 minutes, Mortada Ashkanani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lymm AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mortada Ashkanani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lymm AFC's Sayed Al Bana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oun Al Naqi in the 20th minute of play. Kamal Al Towatan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Oun Al Naqi struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sayed Al Bana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bognor Regis. Oun Al Naqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sayed Al Bana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oun Al Naqi in the 27th minute of play forced Lymm AFC's goalkeeper Sayed Al Bana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Sultan Al Hajri made a precise shot to the right of Sayed Al Bana. Lymm AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mortada Al Adsani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mortada Ashkanani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Mortada Ashkanani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mortada Ashkanani to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lymm AFC's Sayed Al Bana got control of the ball when Oun Al Naqi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
