The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dorchester FC's Fawzy Al Ajmi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Dorchester FC from getting a goal against them. If Hani Al Asuosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aws Al Adsani in the 15th minute of play forced Dorchester FC's goalkeeper Fawzy Al Ajmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Aws Al Adsani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mortada Al Mahmed in the 23rd minute of play forced Hitchin AFC's goalkeeper Karem Shrean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Hitchin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mortada Al Mahmed came free, but Karem Shrean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motlaq Al Banai hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Mortada Al Mahmed struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Karem Shrean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorchester FC. Aws Al Adsani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Eesa Al Jalahma came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Dorchester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eesa Al Jalahma couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Dorchester FC's Eesa Al Jalahma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karem Shrean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hitchin AFC's Fahhad Khaja got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fawzy Al Ajmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aws Al Adsani in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Hani Al Asuosi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fawzy Al Ajmi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fawzy Al Ajmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hani Al Asuosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Eesa Al Jalahma in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karem Shrean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fahhad Khaja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzy Al Ajmi having to interfere. Karem Shrean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mortada Al Mahmed, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Eesa Al Jalahma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fawzy Al Ajmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aws Al Adsani in the 96th minute of play.
