Hull AFC's Bandar Al Mehana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Hull AFC from getting a goal against them. After 11 minutes of play, Hull AFC's Dawood Bahbhani made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taqi Al Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramadan Taiban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anas Al Srae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taqi Al Ali having to interfere. Dawood Bahbhani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Taqi Al Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hull AFC's zone, Ramadan Taiban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bandar Al Mehana came out of the goal and Ramadan Taiban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lafi Al Mansor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Bandar Al Mehana made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Hull AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramadan Taiban came free, but Bandar Al Mehana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shabeb Al Shati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taqi Al Ali having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, Hull AFC's Anas Al Srae made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taqi Al Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ramadan Taiban made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Dawood Bahbhani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taqi Al Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramadan Taiban struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Bandar Al Mehana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holland-on-Sea AFC. In the 55th match minute, Hull AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shabeb Al Shati to maneuver through the defense. Dawood Bahbhani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Holland-on-Sea AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lafi Al Mansor hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Ramadan Taiban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bandar Al Mehana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ramadan Taiban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yousef Al Sharah might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taqi Al Ali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yousef Al Sharah ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lafi Al Mansor came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Holland-on-Sea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lafi Al Mansor couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anas Al Srae got free with Taqi Al Ali in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ramadan Taiban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Holland-on-Sea AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hull AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hull AFC.
