Fahad Al Enzi struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fared Al Jarah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheshunt United. Mnawer Al Jarah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mahdi Bo Hamad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mnawer Al Jarah's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Mahdi Bo Hamad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mahdi Bo Hamad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basel Al Saffar in the 12th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Meshal Shams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fared Al Jarah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fared Al Jarah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahad Al Enzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Meshal Shams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fahad Al Enzi came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cheshunt United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahad Al Enzi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basel Al Saffar in the 40th minute of play forced Cheshunt United's goalkeeper Mahdi Bo Hamad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Fahad Al Enzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheshunt United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fahad Al Enzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fared Al Jarah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fahad Al Enzi ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Fared Al Jarah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahad Al Enzi in the 54th minute of play. Bollington's Mnawer Al Jarah got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fared Al Jarah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahad Al Enzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sami Bahbhani fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bollington's protests and gave Sami Bahbhani a yellow card for diving instead. Sami Bahbhani hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Cheshunt United's Mahdi Bo Hamad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basel Al Saffar in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Cheshunt United's goal looked a bit too open when Basel Al Saffar came free, but Mahdi Bo Hamad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Meshal Shams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheshunt United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meshal Shams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bollington fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cheshunt United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
