Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Morden's Hamzah Al Homaithe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Meshal Shams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dhari Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shabeb Al Hammady hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Sayer Al Mehana fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheshunt United's protests and gave Sayer Al Mehana a yellow card for diving instead. Sayer Al Mehana kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Khalaf Shamsah sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mahdi Bo Hamad skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Gawhar Al Attar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahdi Bo Hamad was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Fahad Al Enzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Cheshunt United's goal looked a bit too open when Hamzah Al Homaithe came free, but Mahdi Bo Hamad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meshal Shams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dhari Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meshal Shamss short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Dhari Al Wazan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Meshal Shams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gawhar Al Attar in the 29th minute of play forced Cheshunt United's goalkeeper Mahdi Bo Hamad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Morden's Dhari Al Wazan got control of the ball when Meshal Shams tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Gawhar Al Attar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mahdi Bo Hamad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Morden were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fahad Al Enzi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Cheshunt United booed when Morden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oun Al Najdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 minutes, Meshal Shams made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Morden's Dhari Al Wazan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fahad Al Enzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dhari Al Wazan having to interfere. Meshal Shams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dhari Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheshunt United's Mahdi Bo Hamad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamzah Al Homaithe in the 65th minute of play. Hamzah Al Homaithe struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Mahdi Bo Hamad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morden. After 73 played minutes Cheshunt United got a freekick which was hit by Sayer Al Mehana. In the 76th minute, Fahad Al Enzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dhari Al Wazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahad Al Enzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Mahdi Bo Hamad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamzah Al Homaithe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gawhar Al Attar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Morden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
