In the 10th minute, Zaher Shalan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Naji Dashti, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sultan Al Sharaf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solihull's supporters rose to their feet, but Sultan Al Sharaf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naji Dashti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salah Al Dabos's late challenge caught a Kings Cross's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of Kings Cross booed when Solihull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Al Dabos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fuad Al Qattan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zaher Shalan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naji Dashti having to interfere. A collision led to Kings Cross getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Abdulatif Al Bloshi hit a great ball. When Sultan Al Sharaf came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Solihull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sultan Al Sharaf couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Sultan Al Sharaf made the kick off in the second half. Qutada Al Bana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulatif Al Bloshi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Solihull's goalkeeper Qutada Al Bana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shaker Al Qattan. If Zaher Shalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute of the match Fuad Al Qattan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naji Dashti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
