With a little luck, Crystal Palace's Aesem Al Khames got control of the ball when Yaqoot Al Srae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Awwad Shrean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aadil Shalan in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Saleh Al Sharaf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crystal Palace's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prescot FC the free kick. A collision led to Crystal Palace getting a freekick after 22 minutes play.
