Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdul Mohsen Al Bana started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Mohsen Al Bana in the 3rd minute of play forced Baston City's goalkeeper Tariq Al Khames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tariq Al Khames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eesa Al Hajri in the 6th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Baston City got a freekick which was hit by Shabeb Al Sarraf. After having played for 8 minutes, Abdul Mohsen Al Bana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winchester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdul Mohsen Al Bana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fahhad Kamal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tariq Al Khames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saher Al Matrok in the 17th minute of play. With his leg Bashar Al Attar managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Baston City's Jaffer Al Saleh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Eesa Al Hajri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester's supporters rose to their feet, but Eesa Al Hajri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tariq Al Khames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Abdul Mohsen Al Bana fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winchester's protests and gave Abdul Mohsen Al Bana a yellow card for diving instead. Abdul Mohsen Al Bana kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Winchester's goalkeeper Bashar Al Attar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaffer Al Saleh. Jaffer Al Saleh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bashar Al Attar having to interfere. Winchester's Eesa Al Hajri got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdul Mohsen Al Bana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaffer Al Saleh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bashar Al Attar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Baston City booed when Winchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahhad Al Ansari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Winchester's Saher Al Matrok got a free kick in the 41st minute. Yaseen Al Barrak, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fahhad Kamal to make the kick off. Jaffer Al Saleh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Winchester's Abdul Mohsen Al Bana in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tariq Al Khames was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Baston City through an amazing save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Abdul Mohsen Al Bana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdul Mohsen Al Bana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Winchester's Abdul Mohsen Al Bana in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tariq Al Khames was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Baston City through an amazing save. A collision led to Baston City getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mostafa Al Jalahma hit a great ball. Abdul Mohsen Al Bana might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tariq Al Khames. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdul Mohsen Al Bana ran back to his position shaking his head. Bashar Al Attar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaffer Al Saleh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jaffer Al Saleh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fahhad Kamal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Jaffer Al Saleh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baston City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaffer Al Saleh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tariq Al Khames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahhad Al Ansari, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
