In the 5th minute Khaled Shadad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tariq Al Khames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mostafa Al Jalahma during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Sanad Al Shaikh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Firas Al Ajmi fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harlesden's protests and gave Firas Al Ajmi a yellow card for diving instead. Fahhad Kamal charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fahhad Kamal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Khaled Shadad scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tariq Al Khames, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 minutes of play Harlesden's Firas Al Ajmi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 19th match minute, Harlesden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Firas Al Ajmi to maneuver through the defense. Baston City's Yaseen Al Barrak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Harlesden. Sulaiman Al Sarraf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahhad Kamal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Harlesden's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaffer Al Saleh fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Khaled Shadad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tariq Al Khames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaffer Al Saleh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulaiman Al Sarraf having to interfere. Fahhad Kamal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Fahhad Kamal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Harlesden's goalkeeper Sulaiman Al Sarraf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaffer Al Saleh. When Bader Al Homaithe came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Harlesden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bader Al Homaithe couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, Harlesden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bader Al Homaithe to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Baston City's Jaffer Al Saleh fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Baston City's Monther Al Mansor got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Harlesden's goal looked a bit too open when Mostafa Al Jalahma came free, but Sulaiman Al Sarraf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baston City's Tariq Al Khames proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Baston City from getting a goal against them. When Fahhad Kamal came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Baston City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahhad Kamal couldn't finish the play. Baston City's Jaffer Al Saleh got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Khaled Shadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahhad Kamal in the 79th minute of play forced Harlesden's goalkeeper Sulaiman Al Sarraf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Mostafa Al Jalahma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th play minute Khaled Shadad came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tariq Al Khames. 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Harlesden walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
