A collision led to Newcastle-upon-Tyne getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Shjae Al Bahar hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Khalefa Al Muwail ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamed Al Sherazi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute, Ahmad Abol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Fawaz Al Youha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Derar Al Arbash, passed just outside the right post. In the 16th minute Taqi Al Qattamy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derar Al Arbash saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wickford AFC's Taqi Al Qattamy got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Falah Al Balool hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fawaz Al Youha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riad Al Najdi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Wickford AFC's Taqi Al Qattamy, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Wickford AFC. With a little luck, Newcastle-upon-Tyne's Derar Al Arbash got control of the ball when Fawaz Al Youha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taqi Al Qattamy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Derar Al Arbash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Taqi Al Qattamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, Oun Bo Shehri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Wickford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Newcastle-upon-Tyne's Oun Bo Shehri got a free kick in the 37th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khalefa Al Muwail made a kick off. Derar Al Arbash showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fawaz Al Youha, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Taqi Al Qattamy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derar Al Arbash was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 66thth minute of the game Taqi Al Qattamy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle-upon-Tyne's Derar Al Arbash was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamed Al Sherazi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Omar Al Dekhel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamed Al Sherazi having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Newcastle-upon-Tyne's goal looked a bit too open when Taqi Al Qattamy came free, but Derar Al Arbash reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taqi Al Qattamy struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Derar Al Arbash didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wickford AFC. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
