With a little luck, Bowburn FC's Rashed Al Abdullah got control of the ball when Ghasan Hayat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Talib Al Muwail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalel Al Khaled in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ghasan Hayat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ghasan Hayat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rashed Al Abdullah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ghasan Hayat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rashed Al Abdullah having to make a save. Rashed Al Abdullah was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yasen Al Mothaf showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. If Yasen Al Mothaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nawaf Al Gareb during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Colchester City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nawaf Al Gareb hit a great ball. Fawaz Al Mahmed struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Talib Al Muwail didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bowburn FC. After 30 played minutes Colchester City got a freekick which was hit by Farooq Al Shati. Talib Al Muwail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalel Al Khaled in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Colchester City getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Farooq Al Shati hit a great ball. Colchester City's Talib Al Muwail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalel Al Khaled in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Khalel Al Khaled got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colchester City's goalkeeper Talib Al Muwail, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fawaz Al Mahmed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talib Al Muwail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fawaz Al Mahmed, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Bader Sarkhoh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bowburn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colchester City the free kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yasen Al Mothaf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fawaz Al Mahmed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Talib Al Muwail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colchester City's Farooq Al Shati got a free kick in the 54th minute. Rashed Al Abdullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasen Al Mothaf in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Ghasan Hayat made a precise shot to the right of Rashed Al Abdullah. Bowburn FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Khalel Al Khaled fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talib Al Muwail having to interfere. Khalel Al Khaled struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Talib Al Muwail didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bowburn FC. Khalel Al Khaled sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farooq Al Shati in the 74th minute of play forced Bowburn FC's goalkeeper Rashed Al Abdullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasen Al Mothaf in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rashed Al Abdullah saved Bowburn FC from getting behind. After 76 minutes of play Bowburn FC's Bader Sarkhoh was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 77 played minutes Bowburn FC got a freekick which was hit by Bader Sarkhoh. Talib Al Muwail was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Fawaz Al Mahmed capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fawaz Al Mahmed really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 85 played minutes Colchester City got a freekick which was hit by Lafi Al Rifaee. 88 minutes into the game, one of Colchester City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rashed Al Abdullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghasan Hayat, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Yasen Al Mothaf might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rashed Al Abdullah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yasen Al Mothaf ran back to his position shaking his head. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
