Mahdi Taiban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taqi Al Sharah's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. If Sari Al Holey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wantage FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ameen Al Balool hit a great ball. Mahdi Taiban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sari Al Holey, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Mahdi Taiban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taqi Al Sharah in the 14th minute of the match. Sari Al Holey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes, Taqi Al Sharah made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leeds's Mahdi Taiban tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wantage FC's goalkeeper Qais Al Shemali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sari Al Holey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mahdi Taiban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Leeds got a freekick which was hit by Abbas Shams. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaker Al Mothaf during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leeds's Shaker Al Mothaf got a free kick in the 27th minute. Sharf Taiban was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leeds's Mahdi Taiban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taqi Al Sharah in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Sari Al Holey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wantage FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sari Al Holey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Taqi Al Sharah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wantage FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taqi Al Sharah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahdi Taiban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Leeds's Shaker Al Mothaf got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Wantage FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adnan Al Hajri came free, but Qais Al Shemali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahdi Taiban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sari Al Holey in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leeds's Salim Al Qattan got a free kick in the 40th minute. Taqi Al Sharah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mahdi Taiban having to make a save. Wantage FC's Sari Al Holey got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Leeds got a freekick which was hit by Abbas Shams. 45 minutes into the game, Wantage FC's Sari Al Holey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahdi Taiban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Leeds players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wantage FC were winning 0-2.
Adnan Al Hajri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qais Al Shemali having to interfere. Mahdi Taiban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sari Al Holey's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Leeds's goalkeeper Mahdi Taiban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taqi Al Sharah. Qais Al Shemali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Msaed Khaja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taqi Al Sharah had several of the Leeds's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Mahdi Taiban as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Taqi Al Sharah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wantage FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taqi Al Sharah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahdi Taiban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hassan Boften's late challenge caught a Wantage FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hassan Boften helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Mahdi Taiban managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Wantage FC's Taqi Al Sharah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 86 minutes into the match, Adnan Al Hajri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qais Al Shemali. Wantage FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adnan Al Hajri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sari Al Holey in the 94th minute of play forced Leeds's goalkeeper Mahdi Taiban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Salim Al Qattan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeds and the Wantage FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Salim Al Qattan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Wantage FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
