Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marden's Qutada Al Arbash started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Marden's goal looked a bit too open when Mahdi Shrean came free, but Barrak Al Kandere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marden's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Mahdi Shrean scored to the left of an out of position Barrak Al Kandere, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hamzah Al Habshi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turnpike Lane's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamzah Al Habshi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barrak Al Kandere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Mahmoud Al Shemali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Qutada Al Arbash ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anwar Al Hindi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Qutada Al Arbash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwar Al Hindi having to interfere. Qutada Al Arbash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamzah Al Habshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahdi Shrean in the 34th minute of play forced Marden's goalkeeper Barrak Al Kandere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Turnpike Lane booed when Marden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sanad Al Sharah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalel Shams was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes Turnpike Lane got a freekick which was hit by Rashed Taiban. The Turnpike Lane players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marden were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mahdi Shrean made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamzah Al Habshi in the 57th minute of play forced Marden's goalkeeper Barrak Al Kandere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anwar Al Hindi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qutada Al Arbash in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Turnpike Lane got a freekick which was hit by Jalal Dehrab. Qutada Al Arbash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marden's Qutada Al Arbash got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Turnpike Lane's goalkeeper Anwar Al Hindi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahmoud Al Shemali. Hamzah Al Habshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qutada Al Arbash in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anwar Al Hindi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nawaf Al Abdullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwar Al Hindi having to interfere. Mahmoud Al Shemali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahmoud Al Shemali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Qutada Al Arbash struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Anwar Al Hindi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marden. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Marden players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
